Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
The purpose of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy is to empower individuals to take control of their own lives through psycho-education using a wide range of techniques specific to individual diagnosis. Unconditional self-regard extends to include the unconditional regard of others. In short, the goal of CBT is to allow clients to take control of their problems and to manage life in a healthy, more adaptive way.
“I cannot thank you enough for all of your help as we worked together on Walnut Street. The communication areas you helped me improve have been invaluable, in addition to many other important areas of teaching and, of course, the B & M “healthy behaviors,” which I believe is a formula for success for all.”
